Bickley Pool and Landscape
This South Baton Rouge residence is a project that challenged the Makaira team to design and construct at its fullest potential. In the case of this stunning, yet minimal home; a contemporary pool layout and outdoor living area was the only option. Instead of using a great range of colors in the project; materials, textures, elevation change, along with an unconventional yet appropriate pool layout work to create a mesmerizing outdoor living area. Oyster firerock and white glass tile are subtle enough materials that the pool itself captivates all the attention of this space. The infinity edge overflow and deck jets help to create a serine experience by producing just the right amount of ripple and cascade of water to invoke peaceful tranquility. The verdant evergreen landscape helps to compliment the modern vibe of the pool area. Whether you are enjoying the sunken spa, relaxing in the partially submerged chaise lounges, or soaking up the view from the balcony; this project is intriguing from every angle.
